About
Angie is the Owner and President of ADWORX. With 26 years of experience in advertising, marketing and public relations, Angie Eckman has a proven track record of building sales and brand awareness through local marketing initiatives. Angie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, specializing in Media Advertising from UL Lafayette. Angie is very active and passionate about promoting and serving the community. She takes great pride in utilizing her talents and skills to assist new business owners with creating their logo, developing and customizing their marketing strategies and executing promotional events. Angie has successfully created, marketed, branded and promoted all of the youth sports and recreational programs at the Youngsville Sports Complex. Because of her success with promoting sports and recreational programs, she has positioned herself to truly be the most qualified person in the area with a proven track record of success in sports marketing. In June of 2021, Angie was recognized by Acadiana Lifestyle as one of eight honorees, “Women Making A Difference.” In December of 2019, Angie was awarded the 2020 Readers Choice Award “Planners and Industry Professionals to Watch” in SportsEvents Magazine and was featured in the January 2020 issue. She was also featured as a “Mover & Shaker” in Acadiana Lifestyle January 2020 issue. In 2018, Angie worked with Mayor Ken Ritter of Youngsville to create and develop the city’s first Leadership Youngsville program. The program was introduced in 2019 and has been a tremendous success, with 27 graduates in Class I, 21 graduates in Class II and 24 graduates in Class III. In April of 2014, ADWORX won Outstanding Business of the Year awarded by the Youngsville Chamber. Angie was also featured on the cover of FACE Magazine of the June/July 2015 issue and was featured for her community activism.
Angie has served as President of the Youngsville Chamber of Commerce for six years and served on their board of directors for 10 years. Under Angie’s leadership as Chamber President, many successful initiatives were created including the Leadership Youngsville program, Guns N Hoses first responder beach volleyball competition, Shop the Sweet Life which supports shopping local for the holiday season, and Swingin’ Fore the Sweet Life golf tournament. She has also served as Marketing & Public Relations Chair for the Broussard Chamber of Commerce for four years and as a Brand Ambassador for three years with One Acadiana. She also served on the UL Lafayette Alumni Council for three years and the Better Business Bureau Board of Directors for three years. She is a current member of the Youngsville Chamber, ONE ACADIANA, Ragin Cajun Athletic Foundation and UL Lafayette Alumni Association. ADWORX is also a proud founding sponsor at the Youngsville Sports Complex, since its inception in May of 2014. Angie’s outgoing personality and determination to succeed have carried her a long way in her career and you will see those qualities shine in her work.
